Thai Yoga Therapist
About Nadiya and Nadi’s Bodywork
Nadiya Sardari was born and raised to the age of 19 in rural Eastern Europe caring for her goats and garden where she learned how to balance her physical and spiritual life through discipline.
In 2008, Nadiya met a Thai Yoga Teacher in New York City and began her formal training. She is a graduate of Thai Yoga Therapy School and in her practice brings multiple styles of Yoga and Meditation together.
A session of Thai Yoga Bodywork consists of a series of interactive movements, stretches, rhythmic massage, gentle twisting, and acupressure, addressing all the main energy channels and pressure points of the body. Treatments are performed with the client comfortably clothed, on a special mat on the floor, and mostly without the use of oils or lotions. This kind of bodywork can be very relaxing and highly therapeutic for many health conditions including back issues, muscle strains, or osteoarthritis. It reduces stress, relieves pain, and supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself both physically and emotionally.
